Meet Anil

I’m Anil Kumar Sahu, the guy who got tired of chai being treated casually. Around Munshi Pulia, I kept seeing big love for chai but average cups: too sweet, too watery, never consistent. Chai 2002 is my answer, a cardamom chai you can trust every single day.

Where the Idea Started

I grew up on nukkad chai: steel glasses, shared benches, real conversations. Later, working near Prime Plaza, I saw the same culture but not the same respect for the cup. That gap pushed me from “someone should fix this” to “fine, I will.”

So I built Chai 2002 small and sharp. One hero recipe. Three formats. One compact outlet tuned to how Munshi Pulia actually moves. The simplicity keeps quality high and prices honest, and it gives investors a clear, disciplined model with very few moving parts.

Chai 2002 aims to go from one shop to many.
      From One Shop to Many

Our first outlet is the test bed. We are still refining brew times, flow and the tiny rituals that make the experience repeatable without me standing there. I am not racing to expand. I am building something that should taste the same, the same kulhad warmth and the same cardamom aroma, whether it is our first shop or the tenth.
